Diva's Challenge # 111 - Mooka Magic..!

Howdy Folks!

Once again its time for the Weekly Challenge from our Diva!...And this week its the Mighty Mooka! Yup! This is one pattern which took me ages to perfect....and I'm far from it yet...

There are many patterns which make me break out in goose bumps just trying 'em out....and Mooka is one of them....

Maria makes it look sooooo easy...and wow her patterns are just that - WOW! I wonder if I will ever be as perfect or even near perfect as her ....

Well, I plan on getting there!....:)

Adventures in Monotangles # 03

Ok I had a tough time with this one! Not cuz of the template but in trying to find a tangle that would suit the template...Since it IS a monotangle!

Had I the option of using more tangles then I wouldn't have found it tough. But I made it through..:)

And I enjoyed every minute of it...:) I have to apologize though, I couldn't resist doing the Paradox in the center, seeing the BOX! Its like someone playing Gangnam Style and NOT dancing! Sorry Roy.... ;-P

More Murals!

So I had a busy weekend..:)

I practice every time I get some free time. As my teacher Patric said - Practice makes perfect...so I diligently practice ...;:) Ive very far to go before I am able to exhibit but thats my goal - to reach that place when I can begin to exhibit and sell my work...:)

Diva's Challenge # 110 - No Box??

Hello Everyone...:)

Ok this is going to be a lil long winded....:) First off, Laura, you look gorgeous!!! Your makeover is just FAB!! Im in LOVE with your hair!!! Wowieeeeeeee....Now you got the DIVA LOOK...:)))

This weeks Challenge calls for getting rid of the BOX. Now Ive always been a person who rarely uses strings, unless called for, and Ive also used Colors, Ive tangled Pots too!!....So for me this was one TRUE Challenge. To find something Ive never done before!!

I would like to show you some of my work...I dont know how many of you go through my blog but for thos of you who havent yet seen it, I am posting a pic of a POT I recently Tangled.....

So when the Diva called for this Challenge, I really didnt know what to do!....And then it struck me! Ive always wanted to do tangles on a canvas so I decided to go ahead and do a canvas!! I painted the background with Acrylics and tangled on top of it.....

I do hope it is worth an entry....:)

My Pattern!!! C-Stroke!!

OMG Im tingling as I post this!!...Ive made my own pattern!!! And its all thanks to Sandy Hunter CZT8 and her Kickstarter Series...:)

Thank you so much Sandy! If it werent for the Kick Starter I would never have attempted this...:)

Here are the Steps to drawing C-Stroke...:)

And this one - no it isnt anything spectacular. I was playing around with C-Stroke and SNORR - a newbie by Sandy herself...:)

My very first attempt at using Watercolors......I finally did a Mural!!...:)

And I did this Mandala on a Flip Chart..:) Its BIG...:)..Also used Colored Pencils..
