And now to get to the Weekly Challenge and my entry - DANSK is a pattern Ive never used and it did remind me of Sand Swirls. Ive tried out Sand Swirls. So today I decided to use just DANSK and Puffle as a border. Looks like a Zendala..:)

Diva's Challenge # 104

Hello Everyone..:)

Its time for the Diva's Challenge 104 - Using a String from Tanglepatterns. I dont think my pattern looks anything like that string yet Ive given it my best shot. Ive used patterns that I havent used before  like Sand Swirl, Via, Hypnotic, Verve, etc......I wanted it to have the overall Hypnotic effect with swirls and lines. Im not sure if I have done it justice.....

Oh Laura, sad to hear Artoo is still sick. Hope he gets well soon.....HUGS...:)

Diva's Challenge 103

Hello All,

Hope this finds each and everyone of you happy in Zentangle Land...:) ... Ive managed to shake some of my inner demons though my battle is still on....

With a vengence I sought to get my art back again and here I am..:) Its not been easy but it isn't impossible. 

Laura and the mental strength she shows in tackling all her issues with such a wonderful smile and Gung Ho attitude has in many ways inspired me. Artoo's & Chewies escapades seem to me like Im reading snippets from my own kids' childhood....Its like Laura has become "family"....:)

So when I read about this weeks challenge - dedicated to Moebius Syndrome - I vowed to do my very best....No half measures for Artoo....:)

I did 2 pieces. The first one was more a trial for me and it gave me more confidence to do the second where I have used Paizel, Onamoto and Paradox. I hope you all like it..:)

The New Year & Diva's Challenge 102

Happy New Year to all my fellow tanglers, artists, friends,,,,,,

I am back from my holiday! I honestly came back the very first week of January 2013 but I just couldnt get myself to bring pen to paper or brush to canvas. Lets just say my 2013 didnt begin so well.

As they say we could save ourselves a lot of heartache and troubles if only people would just speak TO each other rather than keep silent. And for me I dont do any relatioship in half measures. So for me, for someone close to me, to not talk and refuse to voice the issue - it is rather painful. I just lost focus and couldnt think straight.

Thats when I decided that I would bring myself back in this wonderful world. My art has always been my solace, my safe haven, and a world I could lose myself in and forget my worries. This is the very first time that art eluded me. And I was afraid.

But then fighter that I am, I resolved to take the Slogan of the Zentangle Method - Anything Is Possible One Stroke At A Time. So like a child taking her first steps, I began drawing again. So here it is folks - My Entry to the Challenge 102!....

Please forgive the rough and amateur strokes.
